I´ve done domrename a few times, my commandline looked like this: gpfixup /olddns:my-company.old /newdns:this-is.new /oldnb:my-company /newnb:thisis /dc:olDC01.my-company.old I ran the gpfixup "against" an oldname DC. Any problems and dust bunnies you might have had since the convert would be greatly appreciated. When I delete the value in adsiedit, it works. Now, if their domain controllers are running 2003 server you are good-to-go, because starting with 2003, you can rename the domain name. Awaiting for your reply.
