I researched over internet but I didn't get any solution yet. It appears to us, that with the introduction of SDI in Excel 2013, ScreenUpdating is not completely disabling all screen updates as it has with previous Excel releases. You'd think Microsoft would have been smart enough to make one, but I guess not.   I like your suggestion of using the temporary varable, that looks nice.   Hopefully someone I want to be able to do the whole process without that "flickering".
